Welcome to my website! My name is John Levy, I am a native and proud Angeleno. On this site you will find highlights of my latest photos, art projects and inspirations. My interests are founded on documenting truth, seeking knowledge and working towards a more equitable and passionate society. 

I have been photographing with intention for the last 6 years. Some of my earliest mediums were instant cameras and I gradually progressed to digital photography as I fell in love with being able to capture time and moments in static form. One of the more technical aspects that I enjoy about photography is editing photos so that they fit an organic perspective, one that is natural and simple. In this pursuit, I have learned that true photography takes time and dedication, and my perspectives and ideas shine through when I am most inspired. 

Concepts that are important to me in general are ethics, empathy and light, and I try to incorporate these ideas in my photography, in my designs and projects as they are motives to want to share my creativity with others.  

I am constantly challenging myself with concept photo projects, and most recently I decided to express emotional truths and paradigms without the use of people to convey messages of uncertainty, happiness and light.
